Cinnabar in Hertford is the latest of their three Hertfordshire sites to receive a makeover. With the new feel of a high end cocktail bar, the lighting system had a major revamp to highlite and accentuate the new interior design.
The main feature is a custom LED chandelier hanging in the centre of the venue. At 3m tall, the feature can be seen from the ground and first floors and provides a focal point around which the rest of the venue is based.
Behind the ground floor Dj box, a feature wall of digital LED strip was installed, all pixel mapped using ECue lighting software and interfaces. This software provides perfect control of the LED systems and the more traditional moving effects lights, strobes and booth lighting.
A series of custom metal feature boxes were built containing two sets of independant LEDs, to provide house lighting and colour change lighting towards the rear of the venue. Additional RGB LED strip was used throughout the site to accentuate the bars, ceiling sections and shelves. In the front of the venue, dimmable warm white LED strip was used in mirrored boxes to create a subtle but impressive bar back display.
On the first floor, Showtec Octostrips were used on the walls, along with two large mirrorball clusters over the dancefloor. Multiple colour changing spotlights and wash lights were used to give us the ability to transform the look of the room, all controlled using ECue software.
