- Cardioid and omnidirectional element
- For recording live ambient, drum overhead & acoustics
- Wind screen and microphone clamp included
The DAP CM-1 is a small-diaphragm FET condenser microphone with the option of recording with a cardioid or omnidirectional pickup. This gives you the option to capture sounds only from behind (cardioid) or from all directions (omni).
The CM-1 is mainly used for capturing live atmosphere (audience), drum overhead and acoustic instruments. A windscreen is included to reduce expressive wind pressure on the microphone element, as well as the popping sounds of vocals. A microphone clamp is included for quick and easy installation on any universal stand.
