Project Elements: Full Design & Build, Sound & Lighting
Located in Worthing, West Sussex, the Cow Shed sits on the seafront overlooking Worthing Pier. Our aim was to keep the style of the venue in keeping with the beachfront theme, while offering somewhere with a warm and cosy feel during the winter months.
We used distressed timber throughout the venue to mimic the look of beach huts, worn by the sand and sea over years. This was broken up by the clean look of white tiles around the restaurant servery area, and silver cladding in the bar area, giving the venue multiple elements and textures.
The overbar and lighting were designed to have a slightly industrial feel, which with the distressed wood, offers a reclaimed feel to the fixtures and fittings.
