Project Elements: Sound & Lighting
In the heart of Soho, Ku Bar recently refurbished its ground floor and basement nightclub with Showtec assisting with the sound and lighting systems for both floors.
On the ground floor, colour chnaging LED lighting was the predominant feature. Ruuning in between mirrored walls, under bar counters and bottle shelves, hanging tubes and wall mounted features, the LED lighting transforms the feel of the venue. With slow ambient fades during the day to create subtle modd changes, to more exciting chasing and beat effects in the evenings. A control system running ECue software was fitted to give full control and programming capabilities of the system.
In the basement digital LED strip lighting was combined with traditional moving heads, LED sweeper beam effects and stage lighting to create a multi use space. A similar ECue powered control system gives the users full control along with automation settings for simple but powerful lighting shows.
Sound throughout the venue was provided using Void Acoustics speakers from the Venu and Indigo ranges, processing from BSS and Pioneer Dj equipment. All provided using our rental scheme which covers maintenance and servicing.
